This is a beautiful recording by Pat Lee. This is a few gens down but still sounds awesome. The tape was stopped often so there are some cuts in the beginning of some songs. My tapes don't have the equipment listed but I am assuming it is the same gear used by Pat at the other shows on this great tour.

there's a bit of hiss, and a few missing seconds at the start of many of the songs- but when you hear Garcia's guitar pop from the mix- clear and hot-it's a joy.
minor adjustment needed-several song titles and files don't match...I've noticed this in other downloads...so be aware-you can't always believe what you read...
remember- quantity of downloads doesn't mean quality...and many of my favorite downloads are marred with petty/lame reviews..
like 2 stars because they had a bad trip, or they're angry about soundboards being removed...etc.
or- low in quantity because they were added recently.
on the other hand I love many of the stories-and miss those days-never felt so safe and friendly with strangers...the GD wasn't a "show" it was unbridled joy..a real good time.
thanks to all the tapers-
Hearing these aud..is like cool fresh water,
after a long day in the desert-
in 1971 I had a couple hours of GD
thanks to this wonderful site my joy and GD collection has grown a exponentially.
thank you, thank you, thank you.

I had this on a reel!
About 10 years ago, an uncle of mine gave me a ton of reel to reels from a friend of his. His friend got them from a serious Dead Head who had died, and no one knew what to do with them. To make a long story short, I waded thru a ton of tapes, mostly aud stuff, (which turns most people off)and this was one of the lost treasures. I know most people go right to SBD of this show, but I for one love the aud reaction on these tapes. Anyway, this is no doubt the same source because there are pauses that cut off the start of most tunes. At least the big jam is left intact for all eternity! I think whoever taped this also taped 5-21-74. Another great aud tape.
